Excellent machine and worth the viewfinder after the purchase and return of a good espresso machine that Mr. Steam produced anything close to an authentic espresso, I decided to get serious to find a solid machine "entry level" expression. I had an exhaustive (ie ridiculous) amount of research, reading reviews in a myriad of sites, comparing prices, talking with friends who consider themselves "experts expressed", etc. What I found first that you will never For the 100% consensus on a given machine. Secondly, you must establish your price range. It seems that with espresso machines, the more you are willing to pay, the more you get, both in the specification, design, durability or performance. For me, despite my friend raving about its new $ 700 "which does everything except read the newspaper to you" car, as a first time buyer home machine I first wanted to limit my consumption. So I set a maximum budget of $ 250 and I learned all the options are not the reasons that I have bought other cars and it is possible that many chose not to buy would be perfectly fine. What I want to tell you is that so far, about 3 months and 100 + espresso later, I am extremely happy with my DeLonghi EC702. The key is that it produces a foam with a rich flavor perfectly. The steam, but not well designed, works well and can do excellent Lattes. I think it's important to add that, like any machine, it takes some practice to produce the perfect espresso. There are so many human variables that come into play - how long to leave the pump running, a good warm-up time, type of coffee, the grind, as it compact / tamp the coffee, etc. - it 's no two persons will get the same results. However, the performance of this machine has been flawless. I have not experienced any losses or problems. I have carefully followed the instructions from first use, it was cleaned and it has rewarded me with a big head every day, some other good - very good space between the bottom of the filter holder and the base. I have a nice size mug cappuccino (espresso cups to standard care) and it fits perfectly. Apparently this is a problem with a number of other machines. - Two large filters - a few photos and a double shot of espresso. - Filter also use the ESE pod system as you. I do not ski. - Large, easy to remove and clean water container. - It looks good. All white, mostly metal. Have not you one of the cheap looking black plastic. - Warming tray on top really works. My cups and filters at the top and they are warm after about 15 minutes, which is the recommended heating time. And BTW - this is not a problem. I get up, go in the kitchen, turn it on. When I get back into the kitchen after the kids go to, it is ready Those people who, because they wait a few minutes need to have to rethink their dependence on coffee to sue. - Point Grand Prix. Less than 200 €. A few notes: - Yes, it's a little loud for 15 seconds, it produces coffee - but there is a pumping machine, you must have. My children walk in the morning to make more noise than the machine. - Your first taste 5-6 cups of battery acid is. I've experienced this was recommended by a friend. All new machines must be broken to remove the metallic taste. So if you get it after you do the instructions and running water through it a few times, then more, disposable coffee cups as well. I have a cheaper coffee, instead of wasting my stuff well. Let the coffee flavor to penetrate the filter properly prepare the machine. - It must be cleaned at appropriate intervals. The machine even comes with a bottle of water softener. - Buy an external tamper that will make it much easier for you, helps you be consistent in its compaction and maintain the cleanliness of the machine. I bought $ 8.
